Introduction
Learn how to competently administrate and process exam access arrangements for students within your setting with this Access Arrangements Coordination course. Gain the knowledge to navigate JCQ requirements and confidently oversee the entire application process from initial screening, through completion of key documents such as Form 8s and Form 9s, to applying online and liaising with external bodies. You’ll work with the SENCO, students and parents to ensure a smooth application process and enable students to receive the support they require.

- Complete formal applications for access arrangements via Access Arrangements Online (AAO), adhering to deadlines.
- Organise and manage student files and data, ensuring required evidence is up-to-date including keeping the qualifications of assessors and training of invigilators and access arrangement facilitators on file
- Meet with the JCQ Inspector, answer their questions and show them the relevant paperwork.

The role of Access Arrangement Coordinator is an emerging role with responsibilities that may vary in different settings, including in international schools. Each setting has its own unique protocols and challenges, therefore we encourage you to contribute to the discussion forum as this will help build a wide understanding of different practice.
How will you be assessed?
The tasks for this course are contained within the activities and include: contribution to discussion threads, Multiple-choice Questions, talking / consulting with others, and reflective note taking.
There are no assessed tasks for this course. You will however, be interacting not just online but also with a SENCo, a teacher, and a student who receives exam access in your centre.
