Introduction
Enhancing Assessment Practice will extend your knowledge of cognitive processing skills and difficulties, and associated psychometric assessment tools, gained in the Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing. You’ll learn to critically examine your current assessment practice, further your knowledge of the tests and assessments available and gain a broader range of assessment feedback and report-writing techniques.
Going beyond the initial act of assessment, you will develop different models of practice for identifying high incidence need-types, and enhance your skills in identifying and communicating recommendations for learners to other stakeholders within their setting.
This is a recommended module on our Masters in Educational Assessment, but when combined with other modules can also be completed as part of one of our other Masters programmes: SEND & Inclusion, Inclusive Educational Leadership, Autism, or Pastoral Care.
