Stephanie Merchant – CPT3A

Stephanie is a SENCO at a mainstream school in the West Midlands. She completed her NASENCO training with us back in 2024 and then went on to complete our CPT3A qualification in 2026.

Her setting had been using external exam access arrangement assessors, but taking the CPT3A course was something Stephanie always wanted to do. She says bringing assessment in-house has made the process more flexible, and because she already knows the pupils, she is better able to make them feel at ease. It will also reduce costs for her school.

She chose the self-paced route for both parts of the course; CCET and AAC. In the video below Stephie shares what she thought of this training route and some of the highlights.
